Bombay Sandwich

Ingredients

-1 potato, pressure cooked & thinly sliced
-2 cucumbers, thinly sliced
-2 tomatoes, thinly sliced
-1 small onion, thinly sliced
-1 beet, pressure cooked and thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup cilantro green chutney
- 1/ 2 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup amul cheese
- 1 loaf of white bread (or your preferred bread)
- Chaat masala, to taste

Steps

  1. Cut all the vegetables into thin slices and set aside.
  2. Get 2 slices of bread for the sandwich. Apply butter to the outsides of both slices. On the inside of one slice, apply a thin layer of the green chutney. On the inside of the other slice, apply a thin layer of ketchup.
  3. On the slice with green chutney, lay down the slices of potatoes, beets, cucumbers, and tomatoes (in that order). Make sure to sprinkle chaat masala in between each layer of veggies.
  4. Top the veggies with amul cheese. Place the slice with ketchup on top to complete the sandwich.
  5. Place the sandwich on a pan or in a panini maker and toast both sides until golden brown.
  6. Serve hot with a side of potato chips. Enjoy!
