Bhature

Ingredients

- 2 cups wheat flour
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- Salt, to taste
- 2-3 tablespoons plain yogurt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil (in dough)
-2 1/2 cup oil (to fry)

Steps

  1. Mix all ingredients in a large bowl to form a dough.
  2. Cover the bowl with a wet muslin cloth (or just a lid) for at least 30-45 minutes.
  3. Put a small amount of oil on your hands to knead the dough into a softer consistency.
  4. Form 10-12 balls of dough and roll them out into large puris.
  5. Deep fry until golden brown.
  6. Enjoy with chhole, any other veggie dish, or just athanu (pickled veggies).
